Shooting Range Demolition & Decommissioning
We decommission and remove all types of shooting ranges, following Environment and Climate Change Canada and provincial requirements.

All types of ranges
Steel trap, sand trap, granulated rubber trap or solid rubber block backstop: we take them all apart safely. That includes baffles, ballistic panels, target systems and lead-contaminated building materials.
How a demolition project runs
- On-site assessment and planning
- Containment and full PPE for our crew
- Removal of the trap: disassembling steel, removing rubber or excavating sand
- Lead abatement of the remaining structure and surfaces
- Contaminated waste removal through registered companies
Demolition to rebuild
Often the old trap is coming out to make room for something better. Because we also handle range construction, we can go straight from demolition to building the new backstop, for example removing a steel trap and installing a rubber one.
Not sure where to start?
Call Peter to talk it through. Most projects begin with an on-site inspection so we can see the range before recommending anything.
