Frequently asked questions
Do you only clean shooting ranges?
No. PTA started in range maintenance, but today we build ranges, install ventilation, target systems and lighting, maintain backstops, mine lead from rubber traps, and handle demolition, lead abatement and contaminated waste removal.
Do you supply the materials or just install them?
Both. PTA supplies and installs the materials, including Canadian-made granulated rubber, solid rubber blocks and ballistic and soundproofing panels. There is no third-party supplier in the middle.
Where do you work?
We serve Ontario and all of Canada, and have completed projects in Ontario, Alberta and Quebec.
How does a project start?
With a phone call. We then do an on-site inspection of your range and follow it with a formal walkthrough of what we found and what we recommend.
Do you do the electrical work for range lighting?
We install 12V range lighting systems. A licensed electrician makes the AC connection.
Not sure where to start?
Call Peter to talk it through. Most projects begin with an on-site inspection so we can see the range before recommending anything.
